Club Book collaborates with all eight MELSA library systems to pair bestselling and award-winning authors with audiences in all corners of the Twin Cities metro. A program of Metropolitan Library Service Agency and coordinated by Library Strategies, Club Book is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Transparent Language Online is a language-learning online resource that builds listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. More than 100 languages are available, as well as ESL for Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese speakers.
A database containing directory information for US public and private companies and now includes the Canadian Businesses database. Companies may be searched by size, location, type of business, etc. A typical entry includes the company address, phone number, annual sales, number of employees, chief executive, and line of business. Maps can be generated showing individual company locations. Also includes the Residential database which contains information on 135 million U.S. residents compiled from more than 3,900 White Page telephone directories.

A real-time resume and interview online coaching/career advice resource now available through your metro public libraries from either in the library or from your home or wherever you have internet access. All you need is your library card barcode to log on and begin accessing the services and connecting for a one-to-one live session with a carefully-screened job coach. Live sessions can be conducted in English or Spanish.
