Legacy Amendment

MELSA and its member libraries present an array of arts, cultural, literary, and Minnesota history programs in collaboration with arts and cultural organizations, independent artists, historical societies, and community organizations. Programs are funded in part with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage.

Summer at your Library

Summer is the perfect time to kick back and relax with a good book – or several good books! On CD, downloaded onto your tablet or phone, or the traditional hold-in-your-hand format, books are a great way to spend a lazy summer afternoon at the beach, in the park, on the road for summer vacations, etc. Follow this link, Summer Fun, Summer Learning, Summer at your Library, to find out more. Also, be sure to check out the hundreds of free programs at your metro public libraries all summer long.
