With over 80 language options available, including English for foreign language speakers, Byki Online allows library patrons to access the system remotely and offers an unprecedented number of learning options. Byki’s desktop software features listening, reading, speaking and writing exercises, as well as speech analysis to improve pronunciation skills.
Craig Mears from Recorded Books will be here to explain the methodology and language learning technique that was devised by Transparent Language, the founding company of the Byki online language program. He will show a complete demo of Byki, and the full patron experience. This will include log in and account creation, the listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises within the program, multiple learning exercises included with each language, and all other functionality included in Byki. Frequently asked questions and troubleshooting will also be covered, as well as options for staff and patron technical support.
