This summer your metro public libraries are pleased to offer
"Look What's Cookin' at Your Library" -- this year’s summer reading program for kids.

It's important for kids to keep reading throughout the summer. Not only is reading a great way to relax on a summer day at the cabin, the beach, or just in the backyard at home or inside on a rainy day, it’s the way to maintain and build reading skills for a strong start at school in the fall.

There are eight different library systems in the seven-county metro area, with 103 library branches offering a terrific array of summer reading activities. Click on the links to each system to find out more about how to sign up for summer reading and to see a schedule of fun events going on all summer long at a public library near you!
