The Adventure Pass admits 2

The Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary was founded in 1907 and is the nation's oldest public wildflower garden. Within the 15-acre Garden, over 500 plant species and 140 bird species can be seen from the wood-chipped trails that meander through woodland, wetland and prairie habitats. Visitors can stop in the Martha Crone Visitors Shelter for natural history displays, trail maps and more.
Passes are limited to general exhibit admission only.
Passes may not be applied towards educational and group tours.
Special exhibitions and other attractions may not be covered, and other restrictions may apply.

We had never been to the Eloise Butler garden. It was a very peaceful and relaxing place to be. The trails are beautiful and it's a lot of fun to look at the plants and watch the birds and other animals. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to someplace that's very enjoyable. |

I really enjoyed this park, the showy lady slippers were in bloom and I got some really nice pictures. The trails were well tended and well marked. I also found the volunteers who were working very helpful. This was my first time at this park and I am already planning on going back later this summer. |

This is a beautiful natural area that I loved seeing. I love wild flowers and was fortunate enough to go on an hour tour with a knowledgable naturalist. I was amazed how many flowers were in bloom and the diversity contained in this area. I highly recommend a visit if you enjoy walking in nature. The plant life is spectacular and it is a good area to bird watch as well. I was lucky enough to see a great horned owl on my visit! I will definitely be back to further explore this great treasure with the free guide book I got on my visit. |
