The Walker is a place where art, ideas and audiences come together. Enjoy galleries brimming with modern and contemporary art by today's most dynamic artists; two Wolfgang Puck restaurants; films; music, dance and theater performances; and dramatic lounges and outdoor terraces with spectacular city and garden views. Stop by and introduce yourself.
Passes are limited to general exhibit admission only.

I have never been to the Walker Art center since it was updated. It was a wonderful building. We stayed to play mini-golf and had a picnic in the sculpture garden. |

Due to last minute circumstances, my husband and I decided to "vacation" at home, in the Twin Cities, rather than out of town. We weren't sure we could get that vacation feel in our own area and we started by making a list of places we had always meant to go. The cherry in the spoon was on my list. We grabbed Museum passes and off we went. The sculpture garden was beautiful and relaxing. Lunch at the 20-21 was romantic, delicious and provided a wonderful view off the patio. We really felt we were on vacation. We learned so much touring the museum and laughed together about the art that we weren't quite ready to grasp. What a wonderful afternoon at the Walker. Thank you, Macys. It just made sense that we would top off the day with a shopping trip to Macy's at the MOA! |

I love the Walker! The Sculpture Gardens are one of my favorite places in the Twin Cities. It has been a great place to expose my 9-year-old son to art. We loved the Frida K. exhibit, and always have fun "talking" to the dolphin. |

I visited the Walker to see the amazing filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger present her film. I quickly went through the temporary exhibition on suburbs, and the interesting photography exhbition. |

Before I visited the works of Frido Kahlo at the Walker Art Center in mid-January, I had only heard about her works and life in little pieces here and there. Seeing the diverse types of work, each so detailed, along with the biographical photos, helped complete a "picture" of Frida's epic life. The personal events and the larger concerns of her times bear a very real resemblance to today. I felt like I got know her as a person, and could understand what she wrote, said, and did, along with what she painted. |

We attended the Frida Kahlo exhibit. Since she is my all-time favorite artist, we were excited to see her work in-person, especially never-before seen pieces.
Overall - exquisite. Her work is amazing in person; having the small room with all the various photos of her private life (i.e. friends, family, colleagues) - an added bonus. Renting the info headsets (never used one before; a patron we asked strongly suggested renting them) was helpful to learn more about the selected pieces highlighted on it.
This Museum Adventure Pass program is a great offering; I've been telling many folks who normally don't 'do' museums or galleries (whether due to income challenges or knowledge/experience in the arts) to use this program as a way to explore all we have to offer here in the Twin Cities. Thank you. Here's to you continuing this most important and needed program. |

We saw the Frida Kahlo exhibit and it was so great! The exhibit included personal photos of Frida and gave amazing insight into the life of this fascinating artist. |
